First stop of the day, Rue des Fossés Saint-Jacques, Paris 5th.
This is the 100th Paris Windows post. When I started this series, I had no idea there would be so many. I’ve had the great pleasure of visiting Paris many times over 50 years. After seeing the “must see” attractions of the City of Light, and even many of the lesser known ones, I came to realize that just walking the streets and looking in the windows is one of the greatest pleasures to be found in, what is for me, this most pleasant city to visit.
And so, for this 100th Paris Window I’m not posting only one, but several, all with ME in the windows one way or another. I wonder if any Parisians in there were looking out and thinking (in French, of course, and with a little disdain), “Crazy American, taking pictures of WINDOWS!”
Me in the frame. 77 All. du Séminaire, Paris 7th.
Albert Kahn Museum and Garden, Boulogne-sur-Seine, west Paris.
Some window, taken for some reason now forgotten, somewhere in the 13th.
“Your table is ready, Monsieur.” On the Right Bank.
Here’s looking at me.
Just one of the guys, Bourdelle Museum, Paris 15th.
Camera at the ready, Petit Palais, Paris 8th.
I thought it would be so much bigger! Rue Soufflot, Paris 5th.
Maison is where the Pâtisserie is. In Paris that’s every arrondissements!
A very favorite window, Hôtel des Grandes Ecoles, Paris 5th.
Paris Windows is a series designed to divert us in trying times. And though the times are still trying, and I have many more photos of many other Paris windows, perhaps 100 is a good round place to stop - at least for now. Click to see more Paris Windows.

Love looking at your windows. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing. #3 and #4 are super.
