On this Sunday morning, a Houston Azalea Trail walk along North, South and Sunset Boulevards. This is OUR season in Houston. It doesn’t last long - we all know the heat and humidity will kick in soon. But it’s glorious while it’s upon us. And they say that walking is so healthy … so ENJOY!
This next one has a place in Houston Art History, as the sight of a meeting of some of the WOMEN OF HOUSTON ART, in 1934. Wonder if the azaleas are the same? Pictured, left to right, Ola McNeill Davidson, Virgie Claxton, Grace Spaulding John, Ruth Pershing Uhler, Florence McFall, Emma Richardson Cherry, Elizabeth Morris, Beatrice Matthaei, Caroline Burton (from Galveston), and Penelope Lingan.
And now, after all this walking, we can go home and have a julep on the veranda.
Afternoon delight!
So beautiful. Thank you!!
