If you’re in Houston this Saturday, July 18, 4-6 PM, please join me at FOLTZ FINE ART for the opening reception of their upcoming show, HOMEGOODS: A Summer Group Show. A selection of seven of my needlepoint pieces from the past decade will be on view. I am thrilled to be among the many artists in the show, all making art that helps us define, and furnish, HOME.
I am particularly pleased that my work will be on view along with that of several of my Houston Artist Heros from earlier days.
These are my pieces that will be in the show, pictured here along with the original paintings by other artist who inspired me to stitch. (Note: the paintings will not be in this exhibition).
In what is turning out to be a very gratifying summer for me and my needlepoints, two other pieces are currently on view in THE BIG SHOW 2026, at Lawndale Art Center (Houston) until August 15.
And yet another piece got a brief but delightful outing as part of the Rendezvous Center for Art display in the Pride History Tent, at the Houston LGBTQ Pride Fair, back in June!
Thanks to all who have supported my efforts in the past (especially my husband, Rick), and who continue to encourage me in this madness by showing my pieces (that’s you, Foltz Fine Art, and other venues), and to all you Substack readers and gallery goers. Please join me if you can, Saturday, July 18, 4-6 PM, Foltz Fine Arts.
Keep on stitching.

Wonderful pieces! So sorry to miss this show.
I wish I could see these in person! Beautiful work.
